Uni Knot - Duncan Loop

To tie a Uni Knot follow these steps:

1. Pass the tag end through the hook eye.

2. Create a long narrow loop in the tag end above the standing line.

3. Wrap the tag end 4 or 5 times around the standing line and one side of the loop and bring the tag through the loop on the final pass.

4. Lubricate and tighten by pulling on the tag and standing ends. When making a small loop in front of a fly or lure, adjust it to the right size and then hold the loop while pulling gently on the tag end with forceps.
