Palomar Knot

To tie a Palomar Knot follow these steps:

1. Fold the line against itself to form a double strand.

2. Push the end through the eye of the hook.

3. Tie an overhand knot in the double strand, leaving a loop big enough to pass the hook through.

4. Snug up the knot by pulling on the hook with one hand and the double strand with the other.

The Palomar Knot has a strength of 85%.
