Orvis Knot

To tie a Orvis Knot follow these steps:

1. Bring the tag end through the hook eye from the bottom and form a small loop in front of the eye.

2. Make a second loop by bringing the tag around the standing line and back through the first loop.

3. Bring the tag back through the second loop and make two turns around the side of the loop.

4. Lubricate and tighten the second loop against the standing line to cinch the knot against the hook eye. Trim end tag.
