Offshore Swivel Knot

To tie a Offshore Swivel Knot follow these steps:

1. Insert the doubled line through the swivel eye and twist it once.

2. Keeping the twist in the line, bring the end of the loop back to the standing line. You should now have two loops.

3. Hold the loops open and pass the swivel through them 6 times or so.

4. Release the end of the loop and begin tightening by pulling on the standing line.

5. Lubricate and tighten completely, using forceps or pliers to seat the knot in stiffer line.
