My husband prefers to use worms and crickets when he goes fishing. Sometimes he'll get minnows. It depends on how deep he's planning on fishing.
What is your favorite bait when fishing?

Yes, live crickets are best, I find, and are cheap and easy to come by here in the south. The leftover ones can be dumped in for all the other fish to enjoy, but I always save a few for my tarantula.

I don't think my ball python would enjoy the crickets, and I've been told not to feed bait crickets to my bearded dragon. He intends to go back and go fishing in a day or so, but rarely does. So, he generally just tosses them after they've died a slow and painful death in the back of the truck.
Pretty cool that you have a tarantula. I personally wouldn't have one, 'cuz I don't like spiders. But I guess it's not normal for people to have bearded dragons and ball pythons, either. ;)

I prefer good 'ol nightcrawlers and worms! Nothing like sitting back in a camp chair and lazily fishing with a bobber.

Our spider never comes out of her container, which needs to be cleaned less than once per year. She's the easiest pet ever. When she molts, it's incredible. She's molted twice in 4 years - and her life span is 20.

I guess you're going to have you a pet for a while then, huh? I'm not really sure of the lifespan for our pets, I've never really thought about it much.
I think we might be selling our bearded dragon. A friend of my dh has breeders, and one of the females just died. We may be selling ours to him. We definitely don't need to have any little dragons running around the house. LOL

Yes, it looks like Rose will be around for awhile. You could practically put her in storage, though - as much trouble as she is.
