Is the fishing any good where you live?
We live off of Lake Guntersville in Alabama. I understand the fishing is really good. However, you have to have access to a boat to get to the really good spots. We don't have one, so we do our fishing from the banks. Depending on where you go, you can still have some luck.

I'm originally from Chicago Heights! We used to go to the local forest preserves and do dip net fishing. That's the closest I got to fishing until I was in college. I would think there might be some decent fish in Lake Michigan. Haven't you ever tried there?

I do go to the forest preserves and catch fish. In the summer it is hard because of the amount of people there. Lake Michigan is only good at certain times. It is best for Salmon, Brown trout fishing.

I'm from Western NY. Quite a few decent fishing spots around there, but it can be hit and miss. I hear the canal can be pretty good, but I haven't made it up there myself.

You know, it seems that NC is a sportsman's paradise! Everything I hear about it makes me realize why my husband wants to move closer. Not to mention the gem and gold mining you can do there. ;) :D

We live here in Philly. There are several places for people to fish here, and I have heard that it is pretty good... but I only fish when we go camping during the summer. The fishing trips that are planned at other times during the year here in Philly are mainly for the boys to partake in, and my mom and I stay home.

We live in the Southeastern tip of Oklahoma. Its a really great place for fishing, hunting, and camping etc.. You can do a google of Broken Bow Lake or Beaver's Bend Resort, Hugo Lake, Clayton State Lake or Pine Creek lake.. These are our locals...
