When do you stop fishing for the season? It's not uncommon for us to see people on the lake near where we live any time of the year. I'm sorry, I'm not going to sit out on a boat in freezing weather to try to fish. I can wait until Spring!

I usually stop fishing around the end of September or the beginning of October. It starts getting too chilly for me around that time! I've always considered fishing one of my summer activities. :)

We only do freshwater fishing during the summer. We do it in a small pond at the campground that we attend with our trailer... so we usually stop after October. We start back up again around April or so.

It's nice that the campground you go to has a pond on it to use. Alot of the campgrounds around here are right off the lake, so you can fish to your heart's delight, as long as you have a license.

I would say we start the season in March and end it in late October. I don't like really cold weather although I don't mind fishing in the heat. I would fish in the cold if I could ever find a warm suit that didn't make me feel like an eskimo, although I have always wanted to go ice fishing.
