Southeastern Lower
Harbor Beach: Very good with limits of lake trout taken.
Lexington: Good for smallmouth bass in the harbor.
Southwestern Lower
Grand River at Grand Rapids: Very good for catfish.
Kalamazoo River: Producing some nice brown trout.
Northeast Lower
Au Sable River: Limit catches of walleye.
Presque Isle: Very good lake trout fishing.
Upper Peninsula
Little Bay De Noc: Catch rates were good for the walleye opener, but many fish were too small to keep.
Ontonagon: Exceptional for lake trout.
