Missouri

BULL SHOALS: 65 degrees, clear, 1 foot high. Outlook: 125 Marina reports: bass excellent on topwater lures, jigging spoons in 6 to 8 feet of water; walleyes excellent on jigging spoons on the flats; crappies fair on jigs; catfish excellent on night crawlers in 6 to 8 feet of water.

TABLE ROCK: 65 to 67 degrees, clear, normal. Outlook: White River Lodge reports: white bass good early on topwater lures off main-lake points; channel catfish excellent on juglines, trotlines, limb lines with panfish in pockets; bass good on topwater lures early and on Carolina rigs with 4-inch plastic lizards during the day in 12 to 20 feet of water.

SMITHVILLE: 65 degrees, stained, normal. Outlook: Burton’s Bait and Tackle reports: crappies good on jigs, minnows along spawning banks; bass good on Brush Hogs, spinnerbaits in coves, off secondary points and along spawning banks; channel catfish good on a variety of baits in the shallows in the coves; white bass fair on jigs, Road Runners, spinners along the face of the dam in the evening; walleyes fair on jigs with night crawlers, crankbaits off main-lake points.

NORFORK: 71 degrees, slightly stained, 2 feet high. Outlook: Bink’s Guide Service reports: stripers good on topwater on the main lake; bass good on soft-plastic baits along spawning banks; catfish good on trotlines with panfish.

JAMES A. REED: 66 degrees, dingy, slightly high. Outlook: Missouri Department of Conservation reports: bass good on topwater lures early and jig and pig, plastic baits during the day; bluegills, redear sunfish good on crickets, redworms under bobbers; channel catfish fair on a variety of baits.

STOCKTON: 66 degrees, clear, 1.7 feet high. Outlook: Guide Bob Bennett reports: walleyes fair to good on jigs with night crawlers in 12 to 15 feet of water off main-lake points; black bass good to very good on spinnerbaits, jigs, tube baits off points and in the coves; crappies good on jigs in 9 to 20 feet of water.

JACOMO: 64 degrees, clear, normal. Outlook: Forty Woods Bait and Tackle reports: crappies good on jigs, minnows in the shallows; bluegills good on crickets, small jigs in the shallows; channel catfish fair on liver off points.

LAKE OF THE OZARKS: 64 degrees, clear, 3 feet low. Outlook: Gier’s Bass Pro reports: crappies fair on jigs in 20 feet of water; bass good on plastic baits along the spawning banks.

TANEYCOMO: 50 degrees, clear, no power generation. Outlook: Lilley’s Landing reports: trout very good on white jigs and brown or black sculpin flies in the Trophy Area and on Gulp Eggs from Cooper Creek to the Landing. Trout also are being caught on spoons and Rapalas along bluff banks.

LONGVIEW: 65 degrees, 32-inch clarity, normal. Outlook: Longview Lake Marina reports: walleyes good trolling crankbaits or drifting with jigs, minnows, night crawlers along the dam and the swimming beach; bass fair on jig and pig, plastic baits in the brush and timber.

POMME DE TERRE: 64 degrees, clear, 2.7 feet high. Outlook: Nemo Landing reports: crappies fair on minnows, chartreuse jigs in 9 to 10 feet of water in the timber; black bass fair on pumpkin-colored plastic worms in 10 feet of water off main-lake points.

BLUE SPRINGS: 64 degrees, clear, near normal. Outlook: Forty Woods Bait and Tackle reports: channel catfish fair on liver, shad sides below Woods Chapel Bridge.

TRUMAN: 64 degrees, murky, 1.3 feet high. Outlook: State Park Marina reports: all species poor. Below the dam: Rocky Top Bait and Archery: all species poor.

Kansas

MILFORD: 62 degrees, clear, near normal. Outlook: Milford Lake Marina reports: smallmouth bass, white bass excellent on minnows in the rocky shallows; wipers good on live bait in deeper water; walleyes fair on jigs with night crawlers on the flats; crappies good on jigs in the coves.

WILSON: 66 degrees, clear, 1 foot high. Outlook: Knothead’s reports: walleyes good on jigs with night crawlers on the flats; smallmouth bass good on topwater lures, crankbaits on the flats; stripers good on jigs with night crawlers, shad entrails lakewide.

COFFEY COUNTY: 66 degrees midlake, clear, normal. Outlook: Coffey County reports: crappies fair to good on jigs, minnows on the flats; smallmouth bass good on plastic baits in rocky areas; channel catfish good on a variety of baits in the shallows.

WYANDOTTE: 66 degrees, dingy, normal. Outlook: Wyandotte Boat Rentals reports: crappies fair to good on jigs, minnows in 12 feet of water lakewide; channel catfish good on shad sides, liver where there is runoff; smallmouth bass very good (but small) on plastic baits in rocky areas; wipers good trolling crankbaits 5 feet down on the main lake; trout fair drifting minnows on the main lake.

GLEN ELDER: 64 degrees, fairly clear, 1 foot low. Outlook: Little Bait Shop reports: crappies, white bass fair on jigs, minnows on the south side.

LA CYGNE: degrees, murky, 1 foot high. Outlook: Linn County Parks reports: channel, flathead catfish fair on the main lake; white bass fair on spinners on the flats near the hot-water outlet.

EL DORADO: 63 degrees, murky, normal. Outlook: Wildlife and Parks reports: crappies fair on minnows under bobbers along riprap; wipers fair on crankbaits, jigs; channel catfish fair on shad sides on the flats.

SHAWNEE MISSION: 66 degrees, 1- to 2-foot clarity, normal. Outlook: Johnson County Park and Rec reports: catfish fair on worms in the coves; bass fair on crankbaits, plastic baits in the coves and along the dam; panfish good on jigs, minnows in the coves and along the dam.

HERITAGE: 65 degrees, murky, normal. Outlook: Johnson County Park and Rec reports: catfish fair on liver, worms; bass fair on plastic lizard, jigs, spinnerbaits; panfish good on jigs, minnows.

KILL CREEK: 64 degrees, 1- to 2-foot clarity, normal. Outlook: Johnson County Park and Rec reports: bass fair on plastic lizards, jigs, spinnerbaits on the north side and along the dam; panfish fair on minnows, jigs on the north side and along the dam.

CLINTON: 65 degrees, murky, 1 foot high. Outlook: Clinton Lake Marina reports: walleyes fair on jigs with night crawlers drifting the flats; crappies poor to fair (a few are being caught on jigs, minnows. Spawn is over.)

PERRY: 66 degrees, fairly clear, 1 foot high. Outlook: Perry Yacht Marina reports: all species poor.

MELVERN: 65 degrees, murky, 1 foot high. Outlook: Melvern Lake Marina reports: all species poor.

POMONA: 61 degrees, murky, 2 feet high. Outlook: Lighthouse Marina reports: all species poor.

HILLSDALE: 62 degrees, murky, 1.4 feet high. Outlook: Jayhawk Marina reports: all species poor.
