Central

BROWNWOOD: Water stained; 60 degrees; 6.63’ low. Black bass are good on craw and black/blue Bass Hogg jigs, Persuader crankbaits, and GrandeBass 4” Trickster worms along docks, between rocks, and over brush piles. Hybrid striper are slow. White bass are fair on Li’l Fishies, spinnerbaits, and crankbaits off lighted docks. Crappie are fair on Li’l Fishies and minnows over brush piles in 10-18 feet, and near the Texas 279 Bridge. Channel catfish are fair on cut bait and nightcrawlers over baited holes in 8-10 feet. Yellow catfish are slow.

BUCHANAN: Water murky; 58 degrees; 12.95’ low. Black bass are fair on hard jerkbaits, pumpkin JDC Craws, JDC RocKraw trailers, and black/blue Whacky Sticks on jigheads along ledges in 12-20 feet. Striped bass are good jigging and trolling Curb’s striper jigs, trolling crankbaits, and drifting live bait from Garrett Island to Paradise Point in 20-30 feet. White bass are fair on Pirk Minnows, Shad Raps, and live bait from the Willows to Cedar Point. Crappie are fair on minnows over brush piles in 12-15 feet. Channel catfish are slow. Yellow and blue catfish are slow.

COLEMAN: Water murky; 58 degrees; 7.93’ low. Black bass are fair on soft plastics and Rat-L-Traps. Hybrid striper are good on minnows and chartreuse striper jigs. Crappie are fair on minnows over brush piles. Channel catfish are good on stinkbait and cut bait. Yellow catfish are slow.

West

COLORADO CITY: The quality of fishing is very limited due to episodic toxic golden alga blooms.

NASWORTHY: Water lightly stained; 53 degrees. Black bass are fair on live bait. Crappie are fair on minnows and jigs. White bass and hybrid striped bass are fair on live bait. Catfish are fair on live bait.

OAK CREEK: Water lightly stained; 52 degrees; 7.37’ low. Black bass are slow. Crappie are fair on minnows and jigs. Catfish are fair on live bait.

O.H. IVIE: Water lightly stained; 54 degrees; 21.78’ low. Black bass are fair on white spinnerbaits or crankbaits, Carolina-rigged watermelon red soft plastics, and live bait worked along channels and drop-offs. Crappie are fair on minnows and jigs. White bass are fair on live bait. Smallmouth bass are fair on live bait. Channel catfish are good on live and cut bait.

POSSUM KINGDOM: Water stained; 55 degrees; 5.10’ low. Black bass are fair on black/chartreuse jigs, shad-colored crankbaits and live bait along points in the Long Hollow and Caddo areas. Crappie are fair on minnows and jigs. White bass are good on silver jigging spoons and live bait. Stripers are good on silver spoons and shad-colored crankbaits along southern lake points. Catfish are good on live bait.

SPENCE: The quality of fishing is very limited due to episodic toxic golden alga blooms.

SWEETWATER: Water lightly stained; 54 degrees; 7.40’ low. Black bass are fair on live bait. Crappie are good on minnows and jigs. Catfish are fair on live bait.
