Baker Reservoir -- Catchable rainbows are stocked. Fishing is fair to good during the morning and evening with bait and spinners. There is a lot of pressure on the weekends. Camping is no longer allowed within one mile of the reservoir, except in the campground.

Beaver Mountain Lakes -- Little Reservoir is now accessible to vehicles. There is moderate pressure on weekends and fishing is fair to good. Fishing with lures or flies in the mornings and evenings is good for rainbow trout and it has resulted in some browns. The remaining lakes on Beaver Mountain are not yet accessible.

Beaver River, Lower -- Irrigation releases have started so flows are up, though the water is still fairly clear. Private lands in the first two miles below Minersville Reservoir have posted closed to trespassing.

Beaver River, Upper -- The river is still fairly clear, but the early runoff has started so flows are picking up. Ice is now gone from most sections of the river.

Boulder Mountain -- All Boulder Mountain lakes are now open to fishing. Access is still restricted to ATV.

Duck Creek Pond / Aspen Mirror Lake -- Now open to fishing. Catchable rainbows will be stocked in May. Now would be a good time to target brook trout.

Enterprise Reservoir, Upper -- Catchable-sized rainbow trout are stocked in both reservoirs. Pressure is picking up and anglers are experiencing good to excellent fishing with all techniques. Some larger rainbows, up to 18 inches, can be found in the lower reservoir.

Gunlock Reservoir -- The reservoir was drained in fall 2008 for dam repairs. A limited number of adult bass and bluegill will be stocked in spring 2009, but it will take a few years for populations to fully re-establish.

Kolob Reservoir -- Virgin is clear except for one snow drift requiring 4x4. Ice is breaking up and should be gone within a week.

Minersville Reservoir -- Very little pressure and fishing is slow. The reservoir is filling and water conditions look good. The spring netting survey found that trout numbers are down, though a few nice fish can still be caught. Trout fishing will likely be a little slower this year, with mostly small fish caught. Rainbows stocked this spring should grow fast. Smallmouth bass are doing great and should produce some good fishing in the summer.

Navajo Lake -- Still ice-covered but the condition of the ice is unknown. The gate is closed and access is limited to snowmobile or ATV. There is still a lot of snow on top of Cedar Mountain.

Newcastle Reservoir -- A few reports have come in that wipers are biting early in the morning. Also a few smallmouth are being caught. Fair fishing for rainbows.

Panguitch Lake -- Ice is off and trout are cruising in the shallows trying to spawn. Fishing is slow with bait, but fair to good with flies. Moring and evening are best. Remember that cutthroat and tiger trout 15–22 inches must be released. For help with fish identification, refer to page 40 in the Utah Fishing Guide or go to wildlife.utah.gov/trout.pdf.

Paragonah Reservoir -- Ice is off and access is good, except after storms. Fly fishing with streamers and nymphs produces the best results.

Quail Lake -- Bass fishing is picking up as water temperature rises. Some nice fish are found on spawning beds.

Sand Hollow Reservoir -- Water temperature is in the mid 60s and bass fishing is good to excellent. A few nice fish can be found on spawning beds. One angler reports picking up a few bluegill.

Washington County Community Fisheries -- Fishing is fair to good with any technique. There is a lot of pressure on weekends. Adults are encouraged to use lures and flies. Catchable rainbows have been stocked in Upper Sand Cove Reservoir.

Yankee Meadow Reservoir -- The last remaining snowdrifts are melting and access should be good by the weekend, though a 4x4 is recommended. Ice should be off within a week.
