Deep Sea Fishing

Has anyone been deep sea fishing? If so, what is your favorite location?

I've never been deep see fishing. It seems that it would be fun, yet tiring. I've seen alot of it on tv, and reeling in some of those fish seems to take forever. I don't know if I'd be able to reel one in!

Yes, off the coast of Oregon. It was one of the best times I ever had. We actually caught way too much fish - but they wanted us to catch our limit since we paid so much for the charter.

Alot of that fish went to waste.

Really? I know of a few charter companies that keep the fish you catch, and sell them to restaurants. The company my parents used on their trip even had a deal where you could pick a fish to have cooked at a restaurant for you, so you could enjoy it.

I have never been deep sea fishing... and I will never go because I am deathly afraid of the ocean... I'm still interested in all of your answers though! LOL
