Lake Darling (Washington): Water temperature is still in the low 40s. The weather this week has not brought out the anglers.

Lake Belva Deer (Keokuk): Little to no angler activity.

Lake Geode (Henry): Water temperature is in the middle to upper 40s. Pretty quiet on the lake as far as fishing goes.

Lake Sugema (Van Buren): Walleyes are being caught on minnows fished along the dam. A few crappies are also being caught on minnows.

Lake Wapello (Davis): The lake is still being lowered so maintenance work can be done on the dam. Due to recent rains the water level is not coming down as fast as was anticipated. Little fishing activity is being reported.

Lake Macbride (Johnson): Some channel catfish were caught before the cold fronts by drifting dead shad. Walleyes are expected to begin their trek to the shallows to spawn in the coming weeks.

Coralville Reservoir (Johnson): Anglers are catching a few walleyes/saugeyes below the Macbride spillway. Most are using a jig and white twister. This will most likely be a short lived event.

Skunk River (Keokuk and Washington): The Skunk River was out of its banks earlier this week but has gone back to about two feet below bank full. It is forecasted to be above flood stage this weekend.

Iowa River (Louisa): The Iowa River is forecasted to be above flood stage until at least the middle of next week.

Cedar River (Muscatine and Louisa): The Cedar River is forecast to be right around bank full until later next week.
