Lake Kaweah — Fishing is OK. The water level came up about eight-to-ten feet. Crappie are biting good on minnows. Bass are biting on spoons, jigs, and crank baits. Blue gill are biting on red worms and nightcrawlers. Catfish bite are slow.

Lake Success — The water level is low. Bass bite are biting on nightcrawlers and plastic worms. Carp are biting good on shredded wheat that is mixed with strawberry soda. Catfish are biting at night. They are biting on chicken liver, anchovy and crawdads. Blue gill are also biting at night. They are biting on wax worms and red worms. Trout are biting on powerbait.

Pine Flat Reservoir — The water level is holding steady, and the fishing is slow. Fishermen are using jigs or small plastic worms to catch small bass.

Shaver Lake — The fishing is slow, and the water level is dropping slowly. Trout bite are better and improving for trollers.

Huntington Lake — The water level is dropping slowly. Trout bite is OK.

Patriot Sportfishing — Seven anglers aboard the Patriot caught 47 assorted rockcod and nine red rockcod; and 22 anglers aboard the Pacific Horizon caught 178 assorted rockcod, 40 red rockcod, eight lingcod and two cabezons.

Catchable-Trout Plants — For the week of Nov. 16: All plants are subject to change depending on road, water and weather conditions.

If conditions permit, the following lakes, reservoirs, and ponds, listed by county, will be restocked with catchable size fish from Department of Fish and Game hatcheries.

Tulare County — Kern River from Brush Creek to Fairview Dam, Kern River from Fairview Dam to Falling Waters Lodge, Lake Kaweah, Lake Success.
