Favorite Location

Where is your favorite freshwater fishing spot? Mine is an old gravel pit near me. It is fed by a few natural springs, so it has become a decent size freshwater pond. The water is crystal clear, good for spotting fish from a bit farther away.

My favorite place is the back pond in our yard. I can sit there in my pj's if I want to!

It is very serene. We've packed up some lunches and dinners and spent whole days there before. Very relaxing.

You are lucky that you have a pond in your backyard, that's very convenient!

I normally go to fish at the Deep River. I sit on a huge rock in the middle of the river. My kids and I jump the rocks sometimes for fun.

We have some friends that have a pond, and there's pretty good fishing there, too. My only complaint is that there aren't any trees to help shade us, and we have to climb over a barbed wire fence to get there. :( I really prefer that to going down to the lake.

My husband likes to go to this one bridge and fish underneath it. They never catch anything worth keeping, but the kids have fun because the little fish bite even without bait on the hook! :)

Yes, we actually have two ponds, and both are large and have fish.

My father-in-law has a small pond in his yard. We've caught 10 & 11" bluegill, and lots of largemouth bass in the 2-4 pound range. Lots of fun & convenient!

;) Hello again everyone! My favorite place to fish is on the lake near my dad's camp at Buffra lake (think that's how it's spelled. lol). He always takes me out on the lake and that is our father-daughter time. He could bring my hubby but he's too much of a city boy! lol

I'm a city kid, myself, but I can enjoy a lazy day fishing as much as the next person. :)

I really go more for my husband and kids' sake, but I do have to admit that I enjoy it.
